Meet Our Acupuncturist
Dr. Chun Zhou, L.Ac. (NY), M.D. (P. R. China), Ph.D. (Immunology)
Dr. Zhou offers personalized care of acupuncture treatment at the Precision Acupuncture Clinic in the state of New York. His acupuncture service follows traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that emphasizes accurate clinical TCM diagnosis, pinpointing a patient's imbalance, formulating personalized individual treatment principles and plans, and precise classical needling techniques inherited from traditional Chinese styles.
During his acupuncture training at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM), Dr. Zhou focused his clinical study on treating infertility, pain in neuromuscular systems, and dysregulated body homeostasis of the immune, digestive, and/or endocrine systems; those included a wide range of symptoms of common diseases seen at acupuncture clinics.
Equally important, Dr. Zhou's strength comes from integrating his advanced training in life science and Western medicine and contemporary knowledge of research advances in clinical acupuncture treatment. Such a unique combination enables Dr. Zhou to understand and interpret ancient acupuncture theories and techniques in a modern scientific way, thereby giving him the ability to use traditional acupuncture treatment methods and develop them to meet current clinical challenges.
